Setup

Up and running in four steps

  1. Install BetterRTX

    The patched pack is built around BetterRTX lighting. Follow the official installer at bedrock.graphics first, then come back here.

  2. Get Actions & Stuff

    Download Actions & Stuff from the Marketplace and open Minecraft once so the pack is on disk. A .zip or .mcpack copy works too.

  3. Run the patcher

    Download the patcher, launch it and press Patch from Marketplace. It finds your copy, applies the latest patch and writes a ready-to-import .mcpack.

    Your original pack is never modified. The patcher reads your copy, applies a binary diff and writes a new pack next to it. Press Adjust Settings for RTX in the patcher to apply the recommended video settings, including turning off Mob Dithering.

  4. Import & set the pack order

    Double-click the generated .mcpack, then order your global resource packs from top to bottom:

    1. A&S for RTXAlways on top
    2. RTX packVanilla RTX, Kelly's, …
    3. Other resource packsOptional
    4. Actions & Stuff (original)Not recommended

Please don't share patched copies

This is a community RTX enhancement for Actions & Stuff by Oreville Studios. Each player patches their own purchased copy, so keep your patched pack to yourself.

How it works

Binary diffs, not re-uploads

The patcher only ships the difference between the original pack and the RTX version. It rebuilds the result from the copy you already own.

  1. DetectLocates your installed pack, or takes the file you choose.
  2. ExtractUnpacks the source from .brarchive, .zip or .mcpack.
  3. PatchApplies .vcdiff diffs with xdelta3.
  4. PackageBundles a ready-to-import .mcpack with an updated manifest.
